Damian Green rules out ban on burkas in Britain

.... There have been calls for Britain to follow the French example in banning citizens from wearing the burka, a loose-fitting garment worn by some Muslim women to cover their entire body and face, in public.

But Mr Green said he would stand by his decision not to outlawing the traditional clothing, despite a YouGov poll last summer indicating that two in three Britons support an outright ban.
