French headmaster forced out of Qatar after 'anti-Muslim' charges

The headmaser of a French school in Qatar has been forced to leave the Gulf state because an employee accused him of an "anti-Muslim attitude". After accusing his financial director of making false claims on her CV, Hafid Adnani was thrown into jail and forced to leave the country in a "compromise", according to the Mediapart website.

Adnani, who was headmaster of the Lycée Bonaparte, accused the woman of not having degrees that she claimed to have, only to have her take legal action against him for his allegedly "anti-Muslim attitude". [RFI] Read more
