The hypocrisy and duplicity of the Law Society

.... This is not just a professional trade body explaining how its members may best serve the interests of its Muslim clients within the current law.

This is The Law Society of England and Wales adopting and propagating Islamic law even where it conflicts with human rights and equality legislation. Of course their recognition of Sharia-compliant wills does not confer legal right: it is for the courts to determine whether such anti-women, anti-gay, anti-kuffar, anti-illegitimate inequalities, if contested, may be enforced.

But the recognition by The Law Society that such discrimination may be written into a will amounts to a de facto apologia for Sharia, and that is bound to deter all manner of gay/female/apostate/illegitimate Muslims from ever contesting a will in case it should result in community "pressure" to comply with the wishes of the deceased.

But this guidance is also not a "non-story" because it shows The Law Society to be hypocritical, duplicitous and fundamentally anti-Christian. [Archbishop Cranmer] Read more
